  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup diced apples
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 strips cooked turkey bacon (diced)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon cold water

Instructions

  2. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually fold into the creamed mixture.
  3. Gently mix in buttermilk, diced apples, shredded cheddar cheese, and turkey bacon until combined.
  4. Spray a scone pan with cooking spray and evenly distribute the batter into it.
  5. Whisk the egg with cold water and brush over the tops of the scones.
  6. Air fry at 320°F (160°C) for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
