  • 320 grams (2 2/3 cups) All Purpose Flour
  • 66 grams (1/3 cup) granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 8 tablespoons butter, cubed and chilled
  • 1/3 cup sprinkles
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream, cold
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400ºF (200ºC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the chilled butter until the mixture resembles pea-sized crumbs.
  4. Stir in the sprinkles until evenly distributed.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together cold heavy cream, egg, and vanilla extract. Pour into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Pat the dough into a circle about 1.5 inches tall on the prepared baking sheet. Freeze for 1-2 hours.
  7. Slice into triangles and brush with more heavy cream before baking for 20-22 minutes until golden brown.
