  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a double boiler, combine egg whites and granulated sugar until warm.
  3. Whisk until frothy, then transfer to a stand mixer and whip into stiff peaks.

  8. Fill one macaron shell with the peanut butter mixture and sandwich with another shell.
