  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (slightly melted)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup colorful edible confetti or sprinkles
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, salt, and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, beat melted butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined. Fold in sprinkles.
  5. Chill the dough for 30 minutes then roll out to about 3/8” thickness and cut into fry shapes.
  6. Freeze for 20 minutes before baking for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
  7. While cooling, whip together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and heavy cream for the dip.
