  • 210 g all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 75 g powdered sugar
  • 120 g heavy cream
  • agave or honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, lemon zest, and poppy seeds.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until combined.
  6. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them apart.
  7. Bake for about 10 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Let cool completely.
  8. For the frosting, whip together cream cheese, powdered sugar, agave or honey, and heavy cream until smooth and creamy.
