  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 lb turkey bacon (or plant-based bacon)
  • Optional: Arugula or baby spinach, sliced cheese

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken into slider-sized pieces and marinate in olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Cook marinated chicken in a skillet over medium-high heat until cooked through (about 4-5 minutes per side).
  3. In a saucepan, combine maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, and optional red pepper flakes; simmer until slightly thickened.
  4. Cook turkey bacon until crispy and crumble it.
  5. Assemble sliders by spreading glaze on buns, adding chicken, bacon, and optional toppings.
