  • 1 cup unsalted butter (for frosting)
  • 3–4 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 3–4 tablespoons peach puree (for frosting)
  • 1–2 tablespoons sparkling grape juice (for frosting)
  • Pinch of salt (for frosting)
  • Fresh peach slices (for garnish)
  • Candied peach or cherry (optional)
  • Sparkling sugar or granulated sugar (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin pan with cupcake liners.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Combine sparkling grape juice, milk, vanilla extract, and peach puree in a separate bowl.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture alternately until just combined.
  7. Fill liners about two-thirds full with batter and bake for 18–20 minutes until golden.
  8. Allow cupcakes to cool completely before frosting with peach buttercream.
