  • ¼ cup granulated sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
  3. Stir in buttermilk and vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients until just combined.
